These programs make it easy to study abroad while using your existing U СÖíÊÓÆµ scholarships and grants, creating a seamless and affordable global experience. Students applying to an affiliate program pay all their tuition and fees directly to the affiliate program. Additionally, to support the administration, assist in the transfer of credits, provide 24-7 crisis health care service, and support the logistics of the study abroad program, there will be an additional International Academic Program Fee assessed to the application for affiliate programs assessed through the study abroad portal. This fee is:
- $500Ìýfor January and Summer terms
- $1,000Ìýfor Fall and Spring terms

U СÖíÊÓÆµ institutional aidÌý- cannot be applied towards the cost of an affiliate program.
Non-U СÖíÊÓÆµ Financial AidÌý- Federal and state (Florida residents only) financial aid programs may be available to assist with the costs of affiliate programs for study abroad. A consortium agreement established by U СÖíÊÓÆµ is required. Please see yourÌýFinancial Aid CounselorÌýfor more information.Ìý

*Important Note: If you are studying abroad through an affiliate that does not have an overriding U СÖíÊÓÆµ Partner agreement in place, you will be wholly accountable to the affiliate’s financial policies.
Deadlines
The application deadline for January term and spring semester programs isÌýOct. 1, and the deadline for summer, fall semester and academic year programs isÌýMarch 1. All Spartans participating in international programming, whether credit-bearing or not, must work with the Office of International Programs, meet minimum requirements and abide by published deadlines. IMPORTANT NOTE REGARDING INSURANCE COVERAGE:
If you are in the US before or after studying abroad in a Fall or Spring semetser on an Affiliate program you must make sure to have other domestic health insurance as you are not coveredÌý by U СÖíÊÓÆµ health insurance since you are not paying UT tuition in that semester. When paying UT Tuition the following are the periods of coverage. Please plan accordingly to ensure you are covered before and after studying abroad according to the dates listed below:
- Spring Semester:Ìý Jan. 1 - July 31
- Fall Semester:Ìý Aug. 1- Dec. 31
